Introducing the Cyclade Lounge tables by Herman Miller – the perfect balance of sculptural beauty and playful functionality. Each table is designed to stand out with its unique and organic form, while still seamlessly blending with the surrounding space.
Inspired by the Greek word “cyclade” meaning “encircling islands”, designer Gabriel Tan created these tables to mimic the smooth curves and negative space found in nature. The result is a set of tables that can be arranged and rearranged to fit the specific needs of your living space.
The Cyclades Side Table Design Process
Featuring three different heights and purposes, the Cyclade tables can be nested together to create a dynamic trio. Separately, their varied forms shine with smooth, curved edges and intriguing cutouts. This allows for endless possibilities in arranging and decorating your space. Combine it with the Luva Modular Sofa Group for an stylish office lounge or living room.
Crafted with organic curves and thoughtful negative space, these tables play well together and with existing elements in your home. The Low Table comes with an optional Glass Bowl to add a touch of elegance and functionality, while the Mid Table’s notched opening is perfect for wrapping around a lamp. And when nested together, the Cyclade tables offer both visual interest and a variety of surfaces.
Designed by Gabriel Tan and crafted with care at our studio in Porto, the Cyclade tables are a true reflection of his creativity and style.
